AIMS International, Inc., is a world leader in VIV suppression and engineered fiberglass structural systems. With a professional engineering staff, each project bears the seal of a registered professional engineer. With the development of the Talon System, an all-316 stainless steel system designed to resist hurricane wave forces, AIMS became the leader in the field of supplying fiberglass grating systems in the wave zone areas of offshore platforms. The Talon System keyed AIMS’ success and growth as a supplier of fiberglass structural products in the offshore oil and gas industry. With the Talon System, AIMS provides a “washout warranty” that simply states that if a panel of fiberglass grating is washed out due to wave action (hurricane waves included), AIMS will provide free materials and labor to re-establish the grating system back to its pre-storm condition provided certain conditions are met.

AIMS is also a world leader in the fabrication and installation of fiberglass structural systems. As a turn-key fiberglass supplier, AIMS provides complete fiberglass structural system packages, engineering design, fabrication, and installation. AIMS’ stringent quality assurance program ensures that all materials are fabricated and assembled to fit and arrive at the job site ready for installation.

Offshore and offsite installation crews allow AIMS the flexibility to service all of its products. AIMS’ crews provide offshore and offsite installation services for wellhead access platforms, fiberglass grating and handrail systems, and many other projects requiring offsite installation services.

VIV Suppression Products

AIMS provides a full line of vortex induced vibration (VIV) suppression products to the offshore oil and gas industry. This product line consists of fixed-fin vortex streaks, patent-pending AIMS Dual-Finned Flow splitter (ADFS) fairings, and ROV-friendly streaks and fairings. All of AIMS’ VIV suppression product designs are backed by full scale tank testing.

Fiberglass Structural Products

AIMS is a world leader in the fabrication and installation of fiberglass structural systems and produces the safest and most cost effective structures available. The AIMS fiberglass structural product line consists of molded fiberglass grating systems, pultruded fiberglass grating systems, fiberglass mud mats, fiberglass structural fabrication, fiberglass platform ID signs, and custom hand-laid-up products

Platform & Dock Fendering Systems

AIMS provides the design and fabrication of platform and dock fendering systems for the offshore oil and gas and refining industries. This product line consists of energy cells, boat landing rub strips, barge bumper rubber sleeves, conductor stabilizers/centralizers, and custom rubber and urethane products.

Sub-sea Thermal Insulation Services

AIMS was involved in the very first sub-sea thermal insulation project as the approved installer of syntactic foam insulation at Cameron on the Troika Project. To protect the instrument and control tubing from dropped objects, AIMS custom designed and installed the protection panels for the jumper piping. AIMS crews are available to work in the customer’s fabrication facility or even on the barge prior to deployment. AIMS has installed syntactic insulation on numerous sub-sea projects involving trees, manifolds, guide bases, pigging loops, jumpers, and flow loops.

Fiberglass Security Fencing

Fiberglass security fencing, or electrostatically non-conductive (ENC) fencing, can be used instead of metal fencing anywhere, and it is most beneficial when used in places where there are corrosion concerns (FRP is non-corrosive), or conductivity issues (FRP fence is non-conductive and invisible to radar. The FRP fencing materials are fire retardant.

AIMS’ experienced Installation Technicians are trained in the art of fiberglass structural fabrication and utilize engineered drawings to manufacture a product that is customized to meet customer requirements.
